What is it?
The Academic Decathalon prepares students for competitions in a variety of subject areas. This year's topic, The American Civil War, will include reading Stephen Crane's The Red Badge of Courage. Art and Music from the nineteenth-century and science will focus on transmission and treatment of diseases. Economics will cover slavery and the economics of The Civil War. The math section will include general math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus
Latest News: Academic Sports League competed in their first event on Saturday, November 17th. The team finished in the top 10 overall and Brianna Bennett won a gold medal in an individual category.
Is It Too Late?
Students are still welcome to join this group! Students need not be enrolled in the course; they simply must be self-motivated. See Mrs. Ondrasik for details!
