The Clraion-Limestone Jr. Rifle Club emphasizes firearm safety with marksmanship skills. The club is NRA affiliated and affiliated with the Civilian Marksmanship Program. The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) promotes firearm safety and rifle practice for all qualified U.S. citizens with special emphasis on youth. The CMP was created by the U.S. Congress. The original purpose was to provide civilians an opportunity to learn and practice marksmanship skills so that they would be skilled marksmen if later called on to serve in the U.S. Military.

The Clraion-Limestone Jr. Rifle Club competes using .177 caliber air rifles in an especially NRA designed air rifle range. Students are taught range safety, marksmanship skills, and competitive shooting by Mr. Michael McNaughton and Mr. David Schirmer. Both instructors are Pa Game Commission certified Hunter and Trapper Education Instructors. Students have Competed in FFA regional and state rifle competitions.
