SPECIAL VOTING MEETING

April 8, 2008

President Robert Sawyer called the special voting meeting of the Clarion-Limestone Area School District Board of School Directors to order at 6:41 PM in the Clarion-Limestone High School auditorium.

Members Present: Randy Alderton, John Hamilton, Gene Smith, Bill Holabaugh, Mike

Cyphert, Robert Sawyer, Molly Greenawalt, Fred Port and Mark Angel

Members Absent: None

Administration Present: Theodore Pappas, Superintendent

Brenda Reitz, Business Manager

Donna Smith, Board Secretary

Student Council Members Present: None

ACCEPTING OR MODIFYING THE AGENDA

Fred Port made a motion, seconded by Randy Alderton, to accept the April 8, 2008 agenda as presented. The motion was affirmed by all.

PROPOSED SPORTS COOPERATIVE RESOLUTION APPROVED

Molly Greenawalt made a motion, seconded by Randy Alderton, to approve a board resolution permitting the administrators of the Clarion-Limestone Area School District to take the initial step required to secure PIAA approval for a proposed sports cooperative with Clarion Area, as presented.

Roll call vote: Gene Smith, Yes; John Hamilton, Yes; Mike Cyphert, No; Mark Angel, Yes; Molly Greenawalt, Yes, Bill Holabaugh, Yes; Fred Port, Yes; Randy Alderton, Yes; and Robert Sawyer, Yes. The motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned for a public comment period at 7:34 PM on a motion made by Randy Alderton, seconded by Fred Port, and affirmed by all.
