President Robert Sawyer called the Clarion-Limestone Area School District Board of School Directors committee meeting to order at 8:06 PM in the Clarion-Limestone Area High School cafeteria.

Members Present: Randy Alderton, Gene Smith, Bill Holabaugh, John Hamilton, Mike Cyphert, Robert Sawyer, Mark Angel

Members Absent: Molly Greenawalt, Fred Port

Administration Present: Theodore Pappas, Superintendent

Brenda Reitz, Business Manager

Donna Smith, Board Secretary

News Representative(s) Present: Tom DiStefano, Clarion News; Lindsay Sturgeon, Tri-County Sunday

Faculty Present: Mary Faulk, Sarah Meals

Others Present: Approximately 35 in attendance (see attached)

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

Gary Sproul, Clarion Township, inquired whether informational sheets would be sent home to parents and guardians regarding the “Academic Study of the Bible” elective course.

The following persons provided public comment regarding the proposed sports cooperative with Clarion Area:

Gus Simpson, Corsica Borough; Rick Tote, Clarion Township; Sheila Miller, Limestone Township; Dave Wells, Clarion Township.

AGENDA REVIEWED

Mr. Pappas reviewed the agenda for the regular board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 16th.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PM, on a motion made by Randy Alderton, seconded by Gene Smith, and affirmed by all.
