AGENDA REVIEWED

Mr. Pappas reviewed the agenda for the regular May board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st.  A few items to note will be the approval of the 2008-09 proposed final budget and Alissa Coopers plan to start a school and orphanage in Uganda, Africa.  The school district will support her efforts in a variety of ways.

OTHER ITEMS DISCUSSED

Mr. Drzewiecki and Mrs. Wolf spoke about the importance the activity buses have in the success of after school tutoring programs, athletics and other district activities by providing transportation to students who may not have any other means of transportation home.

Mrs. Wolf shared information about Lutherlyn, an environmental camp in Butler County. This is a facility similar to McKeever the 5th grade class had attended. The camp allows teachers to customize the program to fit their curriculum.  With the boards permission Mrs.Wolf can put the information together for the budget.
