Day 2 May 29, 2008 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance. -Oscar Wilde STUDENTS: 1. Girls Track Banquet tonight at 6:30 PM at the Roseville Grange. Girls Track members please remember your secret sister. The secret sister reveal will be tonight! –D. Schirmer 2. Attention FTA members: Don’t forget to sign up for the picnic. We need to know how much food to buy. Directions are posted outside room 115. –H. Pence 3. Any students who will be in grades 9-12 next year interested in participating in Volleyball, Golf, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, Cross Country or Football and any student who will be in grades 7 & 8 interested in participating in Jr. High Cross Country, Jr. High Football or Jr. High Girls’ Basketball should sign up in the office. All forms along fees are due back in the high school office as soon as possible. No forms will be accepted without the fees. Physicals will be given at the school in July. These are the official sign-ups so even if you signed a coach’s list earlier, you still need to sign-up in the office.–K. Wolbert 4. There will be a Boys’ Soccer meeting for parents and players tonight at 7 PM in the auditorium. –R. Smith 5. Any volleyball players currently in grades 8-11 who did not sign the open gym list at the team meeting need to stop in the office & sign the list before the end of school on Friday. –K. Hamilton 11. Football weights & conditioning will begin on Tuesday, June 3 rd at 8:00 AM for players at all levels. –T. Smith 12. Any student who has not yet gotten a book from Mrs. O for ASL summer reading needs to do so TODAY! –L. Ondrasik 13. Don’t miss Friday’s Awards Ceremony! Other activities being planned are whiffle ball, volleyball, Guitar Hero, board games, a sidewalk chalk drawing contest, and a movie. Come celebrate the end of the year. –H. Pence 14. Are you looking for something to do this summer? Clarion University will once again be hosting girl’s and boy’s basketball camps. There is a sign up sheet in the office for any student wishing to try out for Band Front. Please read the sheet carefully before signing up. Students may sign up between now & May 29 th. –T.
