Kindergarten Registration

There will be a Parent/Guardian meeting in the elementary at 6:30 p.m. on April 17, 2008. Parents may pick up their registration packets at this meeting.

The following days have been set for the parents of the different townships and boroughs to bring their children for Kindergarten registration at Clarion-Limestone Elementary School. The morning hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon hours are 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for both days.

April 24, 2008 Clarion and Millcreek Townships and Strattanville Borough
April 25, 2008 Limestone and Union Townships and Corsica Borough

To be eligible to enroll in kindergarten a child must be age 5 prior to July 1st. Parents must submit both documents as proof of age:

1. The child's birth certificate
2. Socieal security number

Children ENTERING SCHOOL (at KINDERGARTEN or GRADE 1) Need the following vaccines: Please note the state may change the immunization requirements!

• 3 Doses of Polio
• 2 Doses of MMR...(measles, mumps, and rubella)
• 3 Doses of Hepatitis B
• 1 Dose of Varicella (chickenpox) Vaccine or history of disease.
• 4 Doses of DPT. The last dose given on or after the 4th birthday.

Your child is required to have all the immunizations completed before he/she can register for kindergarten. You must submit proof of completed immunizations.
