| October | The students will be asked to read four books. |
| November | The students will be asked to read two chapter books and give me a summary on both books. |
| December | The students will be asked to choose a Christmas story. They will then re-write the ending. |
| January | The students will choose a chapter book and add their own chapter to it. |
| February | The students will choose two of their favorite winter time books to read to a classmate. |
| March | The students will choose their favorite Dr. Seuss book and add a silly page to the book. They will also have to draw a picture to go along with their page. |
